When you submit a support request, you may be asked for the support zip file for one or more of your server profiles. The support zip file contains most of the information about your server profile, but any sensitive information (passwords etc) are obfuscated.
The purpose of the support zip file is to gather the information into one place, so that you can easily attach it to you thread for the support person to view and diagnose potential problems.
The file is not password protected, so you can open it yourself and view the contents of the file.
Generation The generation of the support zip file is quite easy and the resulting file will be saved to your desktop. The name of the file will be a random generated GUID - Eg. (68320A26-95FD-453F-A743-9429F834A544.zip).
1. Start the server manager 2. Click on the tab of the profile you want to generate the support zip for. 3. Click on the 'Create Support Zip' button.
If it is successful, a dialog box will appear telling you that it was created and the name of the file.
